Job summary

Sysco Facilities is seeking a Facility Technician to oversee safe operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the facility, ASRS, dock equipment, and related systems. The role requires handling electrical, plumbing, and light construction tasks, with emphasis on safety and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities include logging CMMS work orders, supporting refrigeration operations, and participating in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; facility maintenance tech school preferred.
• Four years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience; or equivalent.
• Refrigeration Operator I RETA CARO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of controls and electrical safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70/70E).
• Troubleshoot PLCs and perform welding as needed.
• Perform general building maintenance (carpentry, painting, plumbing).
• Maintain facility assets with preventative maintenance and inspections of ASRS and dock equipment.
• Log time and materials into CMMS; manage work orders and PMs.
• Carry out refrigeration operator duties and on-call responsibilities.
