Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Facility Technician in Austin, TX, offering a pay rate of $22.00 per hour, depending on experience. This full-time position will require the candidate to handle various responsibilities, including interior and exterior painting, basic facility repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interior and exterior painting projects.
• Prep walls and surfaces for painting.
• Perform basic facility repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests throughout the facility.
• Assist with building upkeep and repairs.
• Move materials, furniture, and equipment as needed.
• Support plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Now hiring Facility Technician

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications

• Painting or maintenance experience preferred
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Industrial or facilities experience is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout shift
• Frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
