Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a supervisor to oversee facility maintenance and housekeeping during the assigned shift. You will ensure timely response to maintenance, repair, and emergency issues while guiding a team responsible for casino floor cleaning and related duties.

The role requires readiness to respond to emergencies and effective communication with staff; prior supervision in a similar setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• 6 months of prior maintenance/supervisory experience preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, and operate tools and radios.

• Supervise facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during assigned shift.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Respond to emergencies (fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak).
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property including casino floor and restrooms.

Job Description

Responsible for supervision of the facility maintenance and housekeeping staff during assigned shift. Ensure that all maintenance, repair, and emergency matters are responded to and resolved in an appropriate and timely manner.

• Assist Facility Manager by ensuring the efficient and proper operations of the facility maintenance department and staff during assigned shift.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Physically respond to emergency situations, i.e., fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or any other emergency or repair.
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property including Casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc...

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.
