Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping operations during assigned shifts. You will supervise staff, delegate tasks, and ensure timely responses to emergencies while maintaining casino areas and public spaces.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to manage preventive maintenance schedules, and the capacity to operate safely within a large gaming facility.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Six (6) months of prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Facility Manager by ensuring the efficient and proper operations of the facility maintenance department and staff during assigned shift.
• Schedule and delegate assignments to maintenance and housekeeping staff.
• Oversee preventive maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Physically respond to emergency situations, i.e., fire, power outage, gas leak, water leak, or any other emergency or repair.
• Oversee daily cleaning of the property including Casino floor, restrooms, slot machines, etc.
