Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on Grounds Maintenance role in Warrenton, OR. You will oversee landscape projects, lead a dedicated team, and maintain grounds year-round across parking lots and exterior areas.

You will operate specialized equipment, adhere to safety and regulatory standards, and continuously assess landscaping needs to implement sustainable upgrades. A valid driver’s license, ability to pass a DOT physical, MEC certification and 2 years of landscaping experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• Read and communicate effectively in English.
• Able to pass DOT physical and obtain MEC.
• No DUI/DWI in past 3 years.
• 2 years of landscaping/gardening experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred (Engineering/Maintenance/Construction Management).
• Experience with third-party management preferred.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, email, and presentation software.
• Spanish proficiency preferred.

• Overseeing landscape projects and collaborating within a dedicated team to maintain the grounds year-round
• Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards
• Operate specialized equipment and vehicles to complete tasks
• Adhere to stringent safety, security, and integrity protocols
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Hold a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions or reckless driving incidents involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years
• 2 years' experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
• Able to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency and be able to maintain a minimum of a 90 day Medical Examiner's Certification (MEC) card
• Associate's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related area (preferred)
• Experience in third-party management (preferred)
• Experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (preferred).
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish (preferred)
