Job summary

S3, Inc. is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead the Industrial Security Programs and ensure NISPOM compliance across the company and subsidiaries. The role reports to the CEO and requires a TS clearance and strong DoD security experience.

Responsibilities include implementing DoD classification procedures, visitor and access control, physical security, and training. This mid-level position emphasizes program management and interdepartmental coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant security program development, management, documentation, and reporting experience.
• 3+ years of using JPAS.
• 3+ years as an FSO in a DoD environment with a Top Secret clearance.
• 2+ years preparing Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254).
• 2+ years executing NISPOM requirements.
• 3+ years briefing on NATO, CNWDI, and COMSEC handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Industrial Security Programs to ensure NISPOM compliance.
• Implement DoD procedures for classified document and visitor control.
• Supervise classified processing and ISSO/ISSM duties.
• Update security measures per new regulations and provide guidance.
• Hold annual security training and maintain records.
• Conduct initial security briefings for new employees.
