Job summary

CAE USA Inc. in Tampa, FL seeks a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure daily tasks meet U.S. Government and company requirements and oversee the National Industrial Security Program.

You will lead security professionals, manage security operations for classified and unclassified information, oversee internal inspections, DD254s, and security reviews, and coordinate with customers and leadership. This role requires a Top Secret clearance, a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of security experience,

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Minimum of 8 years security-relevant work experience
• Capable of producing policy and procedure documents
• Working knowledge of NISS, DISS, e-QIP and SWFT
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) and customer service oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals
• Demonstrated knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM
• Perform internal security self-inspections and DCSA/customer reviews
• Prepare and maintain DD254s for prime and subcontractors
• Ensure audit ratings and security program compliance
• Manage site security budget and classified information handling
• Coordinate security education, indoctrinations, and records maintenance
• Conduct internal investigations and reportable actions as required
