Job summary

SMX in Fayetteville, NC, seeks a CSSO/FSO to implement the industrial security program and ensure contract security requirements are met. The role interfaces with government and SMX management at all levels to ensure compliance and maintain secure facilities, including SCIFs, onsite.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years of government security experience, a DCSA FSO certification, and a Top-Secret clearance. This is an onsite role based in Fayetteville, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related security experience in government classified programs.
• Knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and ICDs.
• DCSA-certified FSO.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee security procedures per applicable regulations and SMX standards.
• Maintain cleared facilities and personnel with proper access and clearances.
• Manage secure areas (closed areas, SCIFs) for classified contracts.
• Conduct Self-Assessments and coordinate with DoD and customers.
