Job summary

Anduril Industries in Reston, VA is seeking a Facility Security Officer to lead the industrial security program and ensure contract security compliance. You will interface with government personnel to implement NISPOM, DD Form 254, and SCGs, working both independently and with the Reston security team.

You will drive program support, risk mitigation, and security measures across the site, including self-inspections, outreach to stakeholders, and ongoing training of personnel in OPSEC and COMSEC

Qualifications

• 3+ years of FSO experience.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• Must complete DISS/NISS training.
• Must hold Facility Program Management for Possessing Facilities certification.
• Current or able to obtain Industrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification.
• Must hold a current, final U.S. TOP SECRET security clearance.
• Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements.
• Understanding of DISS, e-QIP, NISS, and ISFD.
• Knowledge of COMSEC custodian duties.
• Experience creating and conducting security briefings and indoctrinations.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day security programs in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 and SPs.
• Provide guidance to employees and modify operations policies as needed.
• Collaborate with Program Management, Classified IT, Legal and others.
• Act as security point person for OSA buildout from proposal to accreditation.
• Maintain and update SIMS and Operating Location data.
• Coordinate security trainings and inspections for staff and contractors.
• Prepare for Security Vulnerability Assessments and self-inspections.
• Manage access control, visitor certifications, and badge systems.
• Ensure all personnel meet security clearance requirements.
• Develop and update security procedures and SPPs.
