Job summary

Sellers & Associates LLC in Plant City, FL, seeks a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage the industrial security program, clearances, badges, and visit requests. As FSO, you will ensure compliance with NISPOM and related policies while coordinating with defense and program managers.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years as a security professional, holds an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret, and can work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Defense Security Service to maintain Facility Security Clearance (FCL)
• Monitor personnel security clearances for all employees
• Interface with Division/Program Managers on security items for each program/contract
• Enforce all Facility Security Clearance regulations including NISPOM and gov't policies
• Establish and maintain a Facility and Personnel Security Training Program for KMP and all employees
• Manage access control responsibilities including badges, access cards and visit requests
• Assist with processing security paperwork
• Develop procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer and disposal of records

Sellers & Associates is seeking aFacility Security Officerto join our team inPlant City, FL. This individual will be responsible for administering the industrial security program of S&A. As FSO, this individual will be responsible for all areas of industrial security to include processing and maintaining clearances, submitting visit requests, handling badging, and ensure all tasks associated with maintaining the Facility Clearance are completed on time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as Liaison with Defense Security Service for the maintenance of Facility Security Clearance (FCL)
• Service and monitor personnel security clearances for all S&A employees
• Interface directly with Division/Program Managers to address security items specific to each program/contract
• Adhere to and enforce all Facility Security Clearance regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other government policies
• Establish and maintain a Facility and Personnel Security Training Program for other Key Management Personnel (KMP) and all employees
• Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges, access cards and visit requests
• Performs other functions & duties as needed (such as, but not limited to recruiting, office management, program support, etc.)
• Assist with processing employee paperwork related to security, training, and/or other requirements.
• Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Security Specialist, AFSO, or FSO at a company with a facility clearance granted by DCSA
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to get a Top-Secret clearance
• Strong knowledge of security practices with emphasis on personnel, physical and/or industrial security
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to coordinate with corporate functional staff and senior leadership team and external customers and agencies
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks
• Detail oriented professional able to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Able to work independently or in a team situation
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate, perform, and react well under pressure orambiguity.
