Job summary

Sellers & Associates LLC is seeking a Facility Security Officer to join our team in Plant City, FL. The FSO will administer the industrial security program, maintain clearances, process visit requests, handle badging, and ensure timely completion of tasks needed for maintaining the Facility Clearance.

Responsibilities include liaison with the Defense Security Service, monitoring personnel clearances, enforcing NISPOM and government policy, and developing a security training program for key

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of security experience for a facility clearance.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Strong knowledge of personnel, physical and industrial security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

• Establish and maintain a Facility and Personnel Security Training Program for other Key Management Personnel (KMP) and all employees.
• Perform access control responsibilities including managing badges, access cards and visit requests.
• Performs other functions & duties as needed (such as, but not limited to recruiting, office management, program support, etc.).
• Assist with processing employee paperwork related to security, training, and/or other requirements.
• Formulates procedures for systematic retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of records.

Sellers & Associates is seeking aFacility Security Officerto join our team in Plant City, FL. This individual will be responsible for administering the industrial security program of S&A. As FSO, this individual will be responsible for all areas of industrial security to include processing and maintaining clearances, submitting visit requests, handling badging, and ensure all tasks associated with maintaining the Facility Clearance are completed on time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Security Specialist, AFSO, or FSO at a company with a facility clearance granted by DCSA
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to get a Top-Secret clearance
• Strong knowledge of security practices with emphasis on personnel, physical and/or industrial security
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed to coordinate with corporate functional staff and senior leadership team and external customers and agencies
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks
• Detail oriented professional able to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Able to work independently or in a team situation
• Proficiency with Microsoft products (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
• Ability to communicate, perform, and react well under pressure orambiguity.
• Self-starter, able to adapt to independently.
