Job summary

Loft Federal is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer in Arvada, Colorado, to lead and direct security programs in collaboration with the DCSA and ensure DoD/IC compliance across personnel and physical security, including COMSEC and FOCI.

You will manage security budgets, program inspections, and training, serving as SME to leadership and ensuring secure operations for classified efforts and sensitive information.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and a current active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of direct DoD/IC program experience.
• Thorough understanding of DoD/IC security requirements (NISPOM, SAP, ICDs, OPSEC) and industrial security functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide and protect Security, IT, Facilities, Supply Chain, and other critical assets for Loft Federal.
• Serve as Security SME to leadership and Board of Directors on security and counterintelligence matters.
• Act as FSO and Insider Threat Program Official.
• Manage day-to-day security program operations and budgets.
• Oversee FOCI compliance and DD-254 tracking for contracts.
• Develop security requirements for secure payload processing and facilities.
• Create and implement security education programs for personnel training.
• Establish Standard Practice Procedures, Emergency Plans, and Security Processes for classified and unclassified materials.
• Collaborate with Program Execution and Business Development teams as needed.
• Fulfill COMSEC Custodian duties and protect collateral COMSEC material.
• Engage with government customers across security classifications.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/IC security policies and certifications.
