Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. seeks a Facility Security Supervisor to lead a growing classified security program in support of U.S. Department of War programs.

You will oversee a team including ISSMs/ISSO and an FSO, ensuring 32 CFR Part 117 compliance and related directives. This on-site leadership role involves daily security operations, program execution, risk management, and liaison with government customers.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship.
• Current/active Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience OR 12+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to interface with DCSA, defense contractors, and government representatives.
• First Point of Contact (POC) – report to office immediately if alarm is triggered.
• Experience as an Industry Facility Supervisor.
• Extensive knowledge of NISPOM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Facility and Information Security professionals.
• Oversee daily security operations supporting classified programs.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with government customers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage all aspects of the Collateral Security Program and related indoctrinations, debriefings, and training.
• Coordinate classified material handling, storage, transfer, and inventory control.
• Support RMF-related activities and systems (e.g., SIPRNet, DAAG).
