Job summary

Aurex is seeking a Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead industrial security for classified programs at our Huntsville facility. The role requires TS clearance, strong defense sector experience, and the ability to advise leadership on program security requirements.

The candidate will oversee security policies, drive audits, coordinate with DoD and government agencies, mentor security staff, and ensure compliant operations across classified environments in a fast‑paced aerospace setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial security experience supporting classified programs under oversight.
• Active Top Secret clearance and DoD/IC security knowledge.
• Experience in possessing facility environments and COMSEC programs.
• Strong advisory leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead security programs for classified and sensitive materials and operations.
• Coordinate rulings, clarifications, and deviations with government agencies as required.
• Oversee access control, physical security, and secure facility operations.
• Prepare for and support DCSA assessments, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Mentor security personnel and advise leadership on risks and compliance.
