Job summary

MSI Defense Solutions is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer to lead the company\'s industrial security and export compliance programs. The FSO will ensure NISPOM compliance, oversee the facility clearance, manage personnel security, and administer export controls in line with ITAR and EAR.

The role reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and requires on-site, hybrid, or remote work with travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years as FSO or in industrial security management.
• Familiar with JPAS and eFCL databases.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Active U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain NISPOM-compliant industrial security program.
• Serve as Facility Security Officer and maintain Facility Clearance (FCL).
• Manage personnel security clearances through government systems.
• Coordinate classified visits and safeguarding requirements.
• Prepare for security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and deliver security education and training.
