Job summary

Sazerac is seeking a Loss Prevention Guard to protect people, products, and the facility. You will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, drivers, and contractors, monitoring access, following security procedures, and responding to incidents in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong observation, communication, and judgment skills, with the ability to stay calm during emergencies and work flexible schedules including 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in security, loss prevention, law enforcement, military, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Strong observation, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and professional during emergency situations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
• Preferred experience in manufacturing, warehouse, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or regulated facility.
• Familiarity with security procedures, access control systems, incident reporting, OSHA requirements, or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility, including employees, visitors, contractors, and commercial vehicles, while following company security procedures and applicable regulations.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and access records, and monitor incoming and outgoing traffic to help protect company personnel, products, and assets.
• Serve as a central communication point during emergencies by contacting appropriate internal teams, emergency responders, and other personnel as needed.
• Conduct routine security checks, monitor facility activity, identify potential safety or security concerns, and promptly report incidents or policy violations.
• Provide professional and courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers while maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant facility.
