Job summary

The Automated Warehouse Attendant at Buffalo Trace Distillery is a 3rd shift position with Sazerac. This role supports the AS/RS system, identifies faults, and helps lead continuous improvement efforts to eliminate losses.

You will aid in entering orders, tracking inventory, and driving efficiency in warehouse operations. Responsibilities include validating data accuracy, performing cycle counts, and working with the team to improve procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant experience strongly preferred.
• Able to work as part of a team and self-directed when needed.
• Fast learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable with technology and ERP/MRP/MPS/WMS.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support AS/RS performance; identify and help resolve faults quickly.
• Ensure orders and inventory data are accurately entered and maintained.
• Run reports to verify timely order filling and inventory accuracy.

Job Description/Responsibilities

The Automated Warehouse Attendant at Buffalo Trace Distillery is a 3rd shift position.

The Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS System Attendant) support and oversee real time AS/RS performance. Their primary function is to identify problems and help team quickly resolve problems. Additionally, they are accountable for identifying trends in faults and losses within the AS/RS and then helping to lead continuous improvement efforts in order to eliminate those losses.

• Work to ensure that customer orders are being properly entered into the system and the system is working to fill those orders. Quickly identify and resolve system faults. Run reports to ensure that orders are being filled in a timely manner. Help with the optimization and the AS/RS in order to continue to drive efficiency and productivity.
• Execute processes to make sure that the inventory is accurate. Continue to develop tools and processes to ensure the cycle counting is occurring regularly and efficiently. Quickly resolve stock issues.
• Work with the AS/RS and teams to improve the efficiency of the AS/RS and the associated work systems. Identify fault trends and lead problem solving efforts to eliminate the top faults. Ensure adherence to Personal Safety, Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies and Practices.
• Validate that accurate data exists in the system. Ensure accurate ongoing inventory of the warehouse through Savanna reports. Provide direction on improvement areas around inventory.
• Explain efficiency reporting. Work with the operations staff to identify key improvement areas. Work with operators and supervisors to define improved procedures based on identified improvement areas. Resolve faults and stops within the AS/RS system.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of revelant experience
• Demonstrate the ability to work as a team as well as self-directed
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new systems / processes
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Requires Experience in manufacturing software (ERP, MRP, MPS, WMS)
• Strong computer skills and high comfort using technology and systems
• Strong analytical and technical skills

PREFERRED

• Ability to communicate with all levels of an org
• Bachelor's Degree

• Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to work overtime if necessary
• Ability to work 8 hour shift
