Job summary

Metropolitan Warehouse is seeking a Facility Maintenance & Safety Manager to oversee daily building maintenance and employee safety, with emphasis on risk and time management. The role includes streamlining admin tasks, managing training, inspections, inventory control, and risk assessments.

The ideal candidate will lead safety initiatives, maintain preventative maintenance programs, and coordinate with procurement and IT for equipment repairs and purchases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, or related discipline preferred.
• 5 years of safety management experience.
• OSHA experience required.
• Warehouse safety experience preferred.
• Travel required: 50%.

Responsibilities

• Manage all warehouse safety efforts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inspections of facility, yard, machinery, and safety equipment.
