John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs, trainings, and compliance at the Illinois facility.

You will lead the Safety Committee, conduct inspections, manage hazard controls, and coordinate with the Corporate Safety team to address issues requiring immediate attention. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, 5+ years of safety experience, OSHA 30 certification, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Safety or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in safety or related discipline.
Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Mansioni

Conduct daily facility safety walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Lead the facility Safety Committee and coordinate meetings and initiatives.
Deliver forklift safety training, including classroom instruction and testing.
Maintain SDS Online system and ensure current chemical safety data.
Monitor workers’ compensation claims and support return-to-work activities.
Investigate accidents and incidents with supervisors to complete required documentation.
