Job summary

City of Brentwood, CA is seeking a part-time Recreation Team member to supervise facilities during classes and rentals, assist with setup and takedown of tables, chairs and equipment, and perform light custodial duties. The role requires strong customer service and the ability to enforce safety policies to protect people and property.

The position may include evenings and weekends and up to 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.
• One year of customer service experience or one year of experience performing work comparable to a Recreation Leader I with the City of Brentwood.
• Valid American Red Cross Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR and AED certification, at time of hire, to be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise City facilities during classes and rentals.
• Set up and take down tables, chairs and equipment.
• Perform light custodial duties.
• Provide high level customer support and enforce park policies and procedures to ensure safety of people and property.
