Job summary

Complete Building Services (CBS) seeks an Assistant Project Manager for a major Washington DC facility. The role involves coordinating infrastructure and tenant alteration projects, interfacing with tenants, property management, and vendors.

A background check by Architect of the Capitol is required, but no secret clearance is needed. The position runs 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of experience as Assistant PM or PM at a large facility with similar infrastructure.
• Associate degree in facilities management or related field.
• Ability to plan, organize and meet project deadlines.
• Experience reading blueprints and understanding building infrastructure.
• Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Obtain cost estimates and prepare quotes for TWO’s and IRO’s.
• Coordinate and schedule projects with subcontractors and consultants.
• Administer BSR, TWO, and IRO including issuing purchase orders.
• Provide technical review for AOC Technical Review to ensure compliance with standards.
• Supervise contractor staff to ensure on-time completion of PM’s, BSR’s, TWO’s, and IRO’s.
• Maintain CMMS and coordinate repairs as required.
• Maintain relationships with tenants, COR, and security personnel.
