Job summary

CMI Management is seeking a Facility Project Manager to oversee Stationary Engineers at our 24/7 Gaithersburg, MD site. The role ensures staffing, safety, and performance levels align with contract requirements and customer expectations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (BA preferred) and 5+ years of experience managing complex projects, including mission-critical government operations. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing service or construction projects of similar size and complexity.
• Experience managing mission-critical (24/7) government operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to coordinate with the customer and site at Gaithersburg, MD.

Responsibilities

• Meet cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout contract execution and manage service requests and emergencies.
• Ensure Stationary Engineer roles are staffed for all shifts.
• Communicate project and staffing status with the customer.
• Oversee operations, staffing and performance to meet guidelines in a cost-effective, timely manner.
• Measure productivity and quality, set standards and develop improvement programs.
• Ensure corrective actions comply with contract performance.
