Job summary

CMI Management LLC, now part of the Dexterra Group, is seeking an experienced Facility Project Manager to oversee the Omaha, NE site, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-efficient operations.

The role covers electrical, mechanical, fire protection, BAS, and service desk with a strong focus on budget, schedule, and performance across the contract.

Candidates should have 10+ years in operations/facility maintenance and 5+ years in PM/supervisory roles; PMP or CAPM certification is required.

Qualifications

• Ten years of operations and facility maintenance experience, with at least five years in project management or supervisory roles.
• BA degree preferred; High School diploma required.
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services and performance at the customer site in Omaha, NE.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, fire protection, BAS systems, service desk operations and maintenance.
• Manage costs, performance, and schedule for contract execution and service requests.
• Inspect preventive maintenance procedures, train staff on procedures, and update education/training manuals monthly.
• Supervise operations, staffing, and ensure service delivery meets client guidelines in a high-quality, cost-effective, timely manner.
• Coordinate capital improvement plans and day-to-day operations with client customers.
• Oversee subcontractors and contracts to ensure work meets client expectations.

Job Description

The Facility Project Manager will manage the overall coordination of services and performance at CMI’s customer site in Omaha, NE.

Key Job Functions

• Responsible for the areas of: electrical, mechanical, fire protection & safety, BAS systems, service request desk operations and maintenance
• Responsible for meeting the cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout the contract execution and manage service requests, emergencies, projects, etc.
• Responsible for inspecting preventive maintenance procedures, identifying inadequate performance, and training or re-training personnel on proper procedures, and ensuring that the education and training manual is updated monthly
• Oversee the operations, staffing and performance, ensuring facility services are delivered that meet or exceed customer guidelines in a high quality, cost effective and timely manner
• Actively participate in capital improvement plans and projects and assists with the coordination of day-to-day operations and client customers
• Oversee or manage the activities of sub-contractors, maintenance contracts and personnel to ensure that the worked performed meets or exceeds client expectations
• Measure and evaluate productivity and quality, set standards, measure performance, and develop programs for improvement
• Partner with vendors to insure a reliable cost-effective source of supplies, parts, and equipment to meet all deliverables
• Ensure any required corrective action complies with contract performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma, BA degree preferred
• At least ten (10) years of operations and facility maintenance experience, as well as at least five (5) years of project management/supervisory experience.
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project
• Management credential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
