Job summary

CMI Management is seeking a Facility Project Manager to coordinate services at the Omaha, NE site for a government and commercial client.

You will oversee electrical, mechanical, fire protection and BAS systems, safety, and maintenance; manage cost, performance and schedule across the contract; supervise staff and subcontractors; and drive continuous improvement to meet client expectations and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; BA degree preferred.
• Ten years operations and facility maintenance experience; five years PM/supervisory.
• PMI/PM certification (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, mechanical, fire protection & safety, BAS systems, service request desk operations and maintenance.
• Manage cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout the contract; handle service requests and emergencies.
• Inspect preventive maintenance procedures, train personnel, and update manuals monthly.
• Oversee operations, staffing and performance to meet client guidelines with quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate capital improvement plans and day-to-day operations with client customers.
• Manage subcontractors and maintenance contracts to meet client expectations.
• Measure productivity and quality; set standards and drive improvements.
• Partner with vendors to ensure cost-effective supplies, parts, and equipment.
• Ensure corrective actions comply with contract performance.

Job Description

The Facility Project Manager will manage the overall coordination of services and performance at CMI’s customer site in Omaha, NE.

Key Job Functions

• Responsible for the areas of: electrical, mechanical, fire protection & safety, BAS systems, service request desk operations and maintenance
• Responsible for meeting the cost, performance, and schedule requirements throughout the contract execution and manage service requests, emergencies, projects, etc.
• Responsible for inspecting preventive maintenance procedures, identifying inadequate performance, and training or re‑training personnel on proper procedures, and ensuring that the education and training manual is updated monthly
• Oversee the operations, staffing and performance, ensuring facility services are delivered that meet or exceed customer guidelines in a high quality, cost effective and timely manner
• Actively participate in capital improvement plans and projects and assists with the coordination of day‑to‑day operations and client customers
• Oversee or manage the activities of sub‑contractors, maintenance contracts and personnel to ensure that the worked performed meets or exceeds client expectations
• Measure and evaluate productivity and quality, set standards, measure performance, and develop programs for improvement
• Partner with vendors to insure a reliable cost‑effective source of supplies, parts, and equipment to meet all deliverables
• Ensure any required corrective action complies with contract performance

Qualifications

• High School diploma, BA degree preferred
• At least ten (10) years of operations and facility maintenance experience, as well as at least five (5) years of project management/supervisory experience.
• Must have Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project
• Management credential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
