Job summary

Municipality of Anchorage, Parks and Recreation, is seeking a facility lead for the Eagle River/Chugiak Division to manage daily operations and program delivery, and to serve as the primary front desk representative.

You will assist patrons with park and facility rentals and permitting, coordinate events, support recreation staff, and help maintain a safe, clean facility; qualifications include a HS diploma with 3 years of experience, or an associate/bachelor’s degree in related fields, plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and three(3) years of experience in facilitation of a recreational program.
• Associates degree in Physical Education, Recreational Sports, or a related discipline and one year of experience in facilitation of a recreational program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Recreational Sports, or a related discipline and experience in facilitation of a recreational program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as facility lead for daily operations and programming of Eagle River/Chugiak Parks and Recreation Division.
• Provide exceptional customer service as primary front desk representative and assist patrons with park and facility rentals and permits.
• Help plan and deliver public events and recreation programs and support division staff; assist Senior Administrative Officer with financial and administrative records.

Education
