Job summary

Walmart in Columbus, GA is hiring a Technician, Facility Services, Power Washing to operate and maintain pressure washing equipment, ensuring safe, clean facility surfaces while following safety procedures. You’ll handle routine maintenance, respond to work orders, and coordinate with team members to meet priorities, including seasonal exterior tasks.

The role requires a DOT physical/CME and a valid driver’s license, with shifts that may vary.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• DOT physical and Medical Certification (MEC) before or during pre‑hire contingency and maintain MEC card.
• No DUI, DWI, OUI or reckless driving within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pressure washing equipment to clean various facility surfaces, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Evaluate cleaning areas to determine appropriate pressure, temperature, and methods for effective results.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on power washing machinery and corporate vehicles.
• Respond to work orders, document tasks, and communicate updates with facility users and management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet operational priorities and support facility maintenance needs.
• Conduct seasonal exterior maintenance, including snow and ice management, to maintain safe conditions.
• Ensure proper storage and inventory management of tools, equipment, and vehicles.
