Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is a non-profit rehabilitation services organization focused on enriching the lives of people with disabilities. The Guard II role enforces security, conducts patrols, and oversees safe handling and movement of POVs within the Vehicle Processing Center.

The position emphasizes independent judgment, customer interaction, and regulatory compliance. The role requires at least one year of facility security experience, a HS diploma, and a valid driver’s license with 3+ years of driving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and one year relevant security experience required.
• At least one year of facility security experience and ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of licensed driving and age 25+.
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Annual Global POV Administration exam score requirement.

Responsibilities

• Make complete patrols and visible checks of the grounds; document findings.
• Unlock facility entrances and monitor all entrants at the Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).
• Direct customers and car carriers; provide customer service and verify POV details and inspections.
• Enforce and report security incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Assist in training new guards and support security procedures improvements.
