Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Birmingham, AL is seeking an Facility Enrollment Specialist to manage payer enrollment and credentialing for clinic locations. You will coordinate with Revenue Cycle Management, Credentialing, Billing, and Operations to ensure timely enrollment, recredentialing, and accurate payer records.

This role requires experience with Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, payer portals, and multi-location processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare credentialing, payer enrollment, revenue cycle management, or related healthcare admin function.
• Working knowledge of commercial payer, Medicare, and Medicaid enrollment processes.
• Experience with payer portals and online enrollment systems.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple applications, deadlines, and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage initial payer enrollment and credentialing for new clinic locations.
• Handle recredentialing and revalidation for existing locations and respond to enrollment updates.
• Submit facility-level enrollment applications for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Maintain accurate enrollment data including NPIs, tax IDs, and ownership information.
• Coordinate with payer representatives to resolve enrollment issues and discrepancies.
• Support enrollment activities during acquisitions and openings of new locations.
