Job summary

South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield, SD is seeking an experienced Facility Operations Manager to oversee the safe, economical operation of the center. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience in highly regulated environments with frequent audits and strong knowledge of building systems.

The role requires familiarity with Life Safety Code, NEC, ADA standards, ICF/IID regulations, HVAC and electrical applications, plus proficiency with BMS/CMMS and related tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience in building maintenance or similar field preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of Life Safety, NEC, ADA Standards, ICF/IID Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient, economical, and safe operation of the South Dakota Developmental Center.
• Ensure compliance audits are met in a highly regulated environment; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Review construction documents and interpret project specifications.
• Maintain knowledge of Life Safety Code, NEC, ADA standards, ICF/IID Regulations, HVAC and electrical applications.
