Job summary

Lonestar West Inc is seeking a Facility Operations Manager I to oversee the day-to-day operations of a hazardous and non-hazardous waste processing facility in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead drum processing, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, wastewater treatment, inventory control, and waste tracking to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

• Oversee daily facility operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage multiple operational areas including drum processing, tank farm operations, truck loading/unloading, wastewater treatment, and waste tracking.
• Provide leadership to plant supervisors and operations personnel; drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as second-in-command to the General Manager in their absence.

Overview

The Facility Operations Manager I is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the facility to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant processing of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. This position manages multiple operational areas, including drum processing, tank farm operations, truck loading and unloading, wastewater treatment, inventory management, and waste tracking. Working closely with the General Manager, the Facility Operations Manager I provides leadership to plant supervisors and operations personnel while driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, employee development, and continuous improvement. This role serves as the second-in-command in the absence of the General Manager.
