Job summary

Scoular seeks a Facility Manager to oversee a large-volume facility or multiple locations in Kansas. You will lead daily operations, logistics, safety programs, and a team across multiple shifts, ensuring inventory quality and timely shipments.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, maintaining maintenance programs, and delivering excellent customer service while driving improvements in efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience managing or operating a grain elevator, cleaning plant, mill or agricultural commodity processing facility.
• Experience in personnel management.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory including segregation, conditioning, quality, mix and blend activities, shrink control, inbound/outbound weights and grades.
• Coordinate transportation and maintenance with originators and merchants to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide strategic plans to leadership to maintain facility performance and safety through preventive maintenance and capital improvements.
• Oversee product quality, quantity and inventories including inbound/outbound flow.
• Deliver impeccable service to customers and direct vendors and customers in daily operations.
• Develop and maintain basic to intermediate understanding of Merchandising and Accounting.
• Identify revenue-generating ideas to grow the bottom line.
• Plan and execute operational and merchandising strategies for facilities.
