The GEO Group is seeking a Facility Administrator to lead administrative, security, and treatment operations at a correctional facility. You will set long-range goals, manage budgets, and coordinate with client agencies to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Ideal candidates bring strong leadership, extensive administrative experience, and a solid understanding of detention/correctional operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of related administrative experience.
• Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures for managing a secure detention/correctional facility.
• Understanding of correctional laws and procedures for managing a secure facility.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides leadership for administration, security, and treatment programs.
• Develops and maintains relations with client departments and representatives.
• Enforces policies and procedures for efficient administration.
• Directs all facility functions and delegates duties.
• Ensures procedures and safeguards for health, safety, and welfare of inmates and staff.
