Associated Students Inc. seeks a Coordinator I—Facility Operations to lead daily operations across the Cal Poly Recreation Center and related facilities. You will supervise student staff, coordinate scheduling, and ensure safe, welcoming spaces through training and consistent policy enforcement.

The role emphasizes incident response, budget awareness, and collaboration with campus partners to maintain high service standards and program readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university (8 years applicable experience may be substituted).
• Valid, current U.S. driver’s license.
• Red Cross certification (or equivalent) in Adult First Aid, CPR, and AED within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Student Manager—Facility Supervision and Facility Supervisors.
• Oversee daily operations at Recreation Center, Doerr Family Field, Anderson Aquatic Center, and Cal Poly Sports Complex.
• Respond to incidents, manage safety and risk, and ensure customer service standards.
• Develop facility signage, communications, and access for ASI-managed facilities.
• Coordinate events, training, and staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing, and vendor management.
• Lead cross-department collaborations for facility readiness and programs.
