RVI, a locally owned company with 25+ years in the community, seeks a Facility Manager to oversee daily operations, scheduling deliveries, and ensuring timely service/manufacturing processes. The role emphasizes process improvement, ISO compliance, safety, and budget management within a growing organization based in Minnesota.

The ideal candidate has 4 years of degree-level education and 3–5 years of relevant experience, with MS Word/Excel and MRp software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service-based activities and facility capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience using MRP software in manufacturing/service environments.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
• Four-year degree required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience; diverse education/experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide work direction to inventory and production floor personnel at planning meetings.
• Coordinate operation priorities with management to meet strategic objectives.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with department supervisors.
• Coordinate staffing needs including hiring and discipline.
• Schedule personnel time off and approve time sheets.
• Conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
• Document workplace injuries and coordinate with Safety/HR/Management for safety.
• Ensure quality control processes across service/manufacturing activities.
• Administer budgets for operational supplies to control costs.
• Ensure ISO processes are up-to-date and followed to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure proper employee accommodations for safety and operations continuity.
• Monitor major assets/technologies for ROI and efficiency.
• Oversee facility maintenance, improvements, and vendor partnerships.
• Set up and improve processes from maintenance requests to conference room reservations.
