Job summary

KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Facility Manager for a small 20-person operation in Coon Rapids, IA. You will lead daily facility operations, oversee a team of site technicians, and ensure safety and compliance while optimizing uptime.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating schedules, maintaining logs, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with external partners. You will enforce OSHA policies and track performance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical operations role with supervisory experience.
• Proven experience managing teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of site technicians.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and coverage.
• Conduct regular training and performance reviews.
• Oversee monitoring and maintenance for uptime across the facility.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules including building and container filter changes, miner cleaning, and system inspections.
• Manage end-to-end day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dust) and direct corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate operational logs, incident reports, and performance records.
• Enforce OSHA policies, PPE requirements, and electrical safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs, identify hazards, and implement corrective measures.
• Serve as on-site contact for inspections and audits.
