Job summary

GEO Secured Services is seeking an Associate Deputy Facility Administrator to support the Deputy Facility Administrator. You’ll supervise staff, manage administrative and security operations, and ensure adherence to policies and contracts.

Responsible for scheduling, reporting, and directing security and program activities, you’ll drive facility goals and oversee disciplinary procedures, with readiness to respond to incidents around the clock.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• College coursework and advanced training in criminal justice studies, correctional services administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in corrections or related field with mid-management level experience.
• Knowledge of program objectives, policies, procedures, and requirements for managing a secure correctional facility.
• Experience coordinating and directing activities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Assertive, yet motivating style.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility personnel as the Deputy Facility Administrator’s designee or in their absence.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and contracting requirements.
• Oversee staff scheduling to maintain security, order, and operations.
• Prepare progress and status reports on a timely basis.
• Oversee security, safety, training and QCP programs to ensure smooth operations.
• Support facility goal formulation and tracking.
• Maintain observance of detainee rights and adherence to facility rules.
