Job summary

The Fort Worth Zoo is hiring a Facility Operations Associate to help keep the Zoo clean, safe, and welcoming. This role supports daily cleaning of grounds and buildings, restrooms, parking areas and event spaces, while assisting with recycling and logistics for events.

Candidates must be at least 16, available to work weekends, and able to operate basic and larger equipment. A valid driver license is required to maintain park standards and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older.
• Ability to work five days a week, including weekends, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Ability to operate large and small equipment.
• Valid driver license with acceptable motor vehicle record to maintain zoo standards of insurability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily cleaning of Zoo grounds and buildings.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and appearance of facilities, restrooms, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
• Assist in overseeing overflow and remote parking.
• Assist in setting up, staffing and tear down of group sales events and special events.
• Ensure best guest service and support for special events and after-hours functions.
