Job Description:

InReach is looking for a full-time Facility Manager in the Charlotte area for the Clanton Rd Day Support Center. This role is responsible for maintaining facility operations, managing the operations of the facility relating to health and safety issues, and supervising and directing administrative staff and office assistants. The Facility Manager will also be responsible for opening and closing InReach's Clanton Day Support Facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and staff.


Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm *evenings & weekend hours may be required*

Location: 520 Clanton Rd Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28209

Pay Rate: $42,000/year (Salaried)


Responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

  • Ensures individual self-determination by recognizing individual diversity, advocating for individual rights, educating customers, communicating with respect and dignity, using person first language and supporting personal outcomes.
  • Ensures the safety of employees and individuals served by educating staff and customers on emergency and safety procedures, training on safety standards, InReach policies, and regulations. Implementing emergency action plan procedures, conducting emergency drills, and participating in the Safety Committee meetings and events.
  • Manages Fleet Vehicles
  • Supervises daily management of facility operations.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, and standards.
  • Assist with staff by providing feedback and directives.
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors and business associates.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, networking, maintaining certifications required and participating in professional organizations and societies.
  • Monitoring incident reports and incident trends, preparing operations monthly reports, submitting invoices/orders and check requests in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work well with a team.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or GED
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
  • CDL preferred.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and maintain safe driving record
  • Ability to be certified in BBP, OSHA, FA/CPR and Defensive Driving
  • Ability to perform duties, physical tasks, and mental tasks
