Job summary

Cornerstone of Rhinebeck is seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker to keep our facility clean, safe, and well-maintained for clients and staff. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and cleaning.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with duties spanning routine repairs, waste disposal, and coordination with other departments to address maintenance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Trade school or vocational credential in lieu of degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write English.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must have a valid United States Driver's license and a clean DMV record for at least one year.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
• Maintain a clean and organized facility, including common areas, rooms, and equipment.
• Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables.
• Conduct thorough cleaning and disinfection of high-touch areas and client living spaces.
• Perform heavy manual labor, lifting a minimum of 50lbs, and standing for long periods.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve maintenance issues.
