Brooke Grove Retirement Village, part of Brooke Grove Foundation, is seeking a Facility Maintenance Worker. This full-time, daytime role in Olney, MD offers up to $32/hour based on experience, with responsibilities spanning routine maintenance, troubleshooting, upkeep, safety, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Perform Routine Maintenance: inspect buildings and equipment, maintain mechanical/HVAC/electrical systems, lubricate and replace parts as needed.
• Troubleshoot and Repair: diagnose issues, repair or replace defective parts in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, use diagnostic tools.
• Facility Upkeep: maintain interior and exterior, perform carpentry, painting, drywall repair as needed.
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety standards, keep maintenance records, manage inventory and orders.
• Emergency Response: respond to urgent maintenance requests; participate in on-call rotation.

Facility Maintenance Worker

Full Time | Days

Pay: Up to $32/hour (Based on experience)

Responsibilities of a Facility Maintenance Worker:

• Perform Routine Maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
  • Lubricate, clean, and replace parts as necessary to maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and Repair
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Repair or replace defective parts in various systems, including plumbing systems, electrical systems, and HVAC.
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and fix issues.
• Facility Upkeep
  • Ensure that the building's interior and exterior are well-maintained.
  • Perform minor construction tasks such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
• Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Monitor and control maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
• Emergency Response
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to address urgent issues outside of regular working hours.

Requirements of a Facility Maintenance Worker:

• High School Diploma.
• One to three years experience in facilities maintenance role.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
