Job summary

Walmart in Odessa, TX is seeking a maintenance professional to perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, inspect and repair equipment, and document activities to ensure safety and reliability. You will manage work orders, coordinate with contractors, order parts, submit warranty claims, and ensure compliance with OSHA and Walmart standards while maintaining equipment and vehicles.

Qualifications

Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five years and no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three years.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractors.
Order parts and track orders; submit warranty claims.
Document maintenance activities and prepare expense vouchers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
