Walmart in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and fixtures, inspect and repair issues, and manage work orders and schedules.

You will order parts, track shipments, submit warranty claims, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role involves operating heavy machinery and vehicles, coordinating with contractors, and upholding Walmart’s standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines.
• Inspects, cleans, and repairs facilities, equipment, or fixtures; observes wear and tear; manages work orders and contractors.
• Orders parts, tracks orders, and submits warranty claims; records purchases and usage.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart quality standards; coordinates with contractors and teams.
• Operates heavy machinery and transports equipment between facilities; conducts safety checks and documents maintenance activities.
