Job Summary: The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the facility, including its infrastructure, machinery, and equipment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs to ensure the facility's optimal functioning.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and certification in a skilled maintenance trade (e.g., Electrical, Millwright, Plumber/Pipefitter, HVAC, Welder, Sheet Metal) with a minimum of 1 year experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or construction.
Preferred qualifications include current material handling certification, Lock Out/Tag Out, Lifting & Rigging, preventive or predictive maintenance, or any journeyman/trades licensing.
