• Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record required.
• EPA refrigerant certification preferred.

As Maintenance Technician I, you’ll work with a team of technicians to perform a variety of tasks, including day to day maintenance and operations of the HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems for our headquarters building. • Operates, maintains, and repairs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other related equipment to ensure its safe and efficient operation
• Responds to tenant requests in a courteous and efficient manner and report unresolved issues to Foreman / Lead
• Takes readings on equipment regularly, analyzes readings, and makes adjustments to equipment as needed
• Assists with maintenance and operation of chillers, boilers cooling towers, and related equipment
• Solves problems with building fire and energy management systems
• Inspects and tests elevators, fire pumps, generators, carbon monoxide sensors, and other facility equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Education / Years of Experience :

• Required : High School Diploma / GED and six (6) month’s related experience or an Associate’s / Technical school degree

Physical and Environment Work Requirements :

The ability to :

• Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
• Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
• Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
• Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and / or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
• Use hand tools
• Must be able to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
• Examples of rotating shifts include the following :
• Weekends : 7pm -7am and Thurs. and Fri. 3pm - 11pm
• Weekends : 7am-7pm and Mon and Tues 3pm - 11pm
• Mon. – Fri. : 7am-3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am
• May be required to work overtime

Other Requirements :

• Must obtain and maintain one of the following : Mechanical journeyman license with the State of Oklahoma or a State boiler license and first-class ltd. engineer’s license
• Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Demonstrates excellent organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
• Needs basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
• Preferred : Mechanical journeyman or engineers’ license
• Preferred : EPA refrigerant certification
