Landmark Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and well-maintained for residents and staff. You will perform routine tasks, assist with minor repairs, and support daily preventative maintenance under the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring a clean and hazard-free environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility systems such as HVAC, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well within a team.
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Able to adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
