Job summary

Walmart Morristown, TN is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance, inspect, repair, and operate heavy machinery, manage work orders, and ensure safety and compliance.

You will coordinate with contractors, document activities, and follow company policies, including the Open Door Policy, while contributing to a safe, efficient facility operation. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the FMCSA, in the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, or fixtures following schedules.
• Inspect, clean, repair, and document maintenance activities and wear signs.
• Manage work orders, schedules, and contractor coordination; order parts and track deliveries.
