Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician in Pearl, Mississippi. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, and building facilities, performing general maintenance, and working with a team to complete complex projects across multiple sites.

Applicants should have experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, plus a valid driver's license and DOT certification if applicable. 18+ required. On-site work with opportunities for training through U-Haul University.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver's license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely.
• Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Track company truck and gas card usage.
• Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
