Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance following codes and standards and documents in CMMS.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Maintain mechanical/electrical systems (HVAC, piping, gas systems) with guidance.
• Carry out general maintenance (grounds, carpentry, painting, snow removal).
• Respond to emergencies (leaks, floods, power outages, equipment failures).
• Respond to occupant requests; perform zone maintenance and update statuses.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment safety checks.
• Inspect and repair fire doors and related hardware.
• Read blueprints and manuals to complete assignments.
