Facility Maintenance Technician

Crunch is NOW HIRING a professional, organized, problem-solver with building maintenance experience. We are looking for a handy, adaptable maintenance technician to keep our San Diego County locations in top shape!

HIGHLIGHTS

• Focus: Building Maintenance and gym equipment
• Pay: $26-$30 per hour depending on experience
• Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional adjustments

The Position

As a Maintenance Technician, you will help maintain a clean, well-kept club. Your focus will be on building maintenance across our locations in San Clemente, Tustin, Huntington Beach, Fountain Valley, Placenta, and Garden Grove, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for members.

Requirements

• Maintenance experience: 2+ years preferred
• Handyman experience: 1+ year preferred
• Experience in repair/maintenance of equipment and buildings
• Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
• Operational/maintenance experience: 2+ years preferred
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Basic computer skills: email, Excel, digital logs
• Experience in health club maintenance: preferred
• Reliable transportation

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to work in noisy environments with equipment sounds and energetic activity
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, cleaning supplies, and building debris
• Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds, squat, reach, climb ladders, and remain stationary or move for extended periods

Responsibilities

Your daily tasks may include:

• Collaborating with managers on maintenance needs and schedules
• Inspecting and maintaining the facility, logs, and safety standards
• Performing repairs on structures, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
• Preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Interacting with members to enhance their experience
