LS Cable & System USA is seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician in Tarboro, NC. This full-time role covers routine building maintenance, system troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in facilities maintenance, with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and related trades, and must follow safety rules and procedures. Includes growth and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of documented facilities maintenance experience.
• Construction-related skills for a wide range of building maintenance projects.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Plan and perform maintenance and repair work on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, ventilation, and general building infrastructure.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot building systems and minor machinery issues to determine root causes.
• Perform general repairs in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other trades.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $28.00 Annually

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance, troubleshooting facility-related issues, and ensuring that company buildings, systems, and equipment operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in facility maintenance, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting overall facility operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and perform maintenance and repair work on facility systems, including:
  • HVAC systems
  • Plumbing systems
  • Ventilation systems
  • General building infrastructure
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and potential equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot building systems and minor machinery issues and determine root causes of malfunctions.
• Perform general repairs involving carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other maintenance trades as needed.
• Ensure facility systems are operating at optimal efficiency and capacity.
• Complete preventative maintenance activities and document all work performed.
• Prepare maintenance reports and communicate findings to management.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with department leaders, the Maintenance Supervisor, and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform general cleaning and other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to work in high-noise environments requiring hearing protection.
• Exposure to lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning chemicals, paints, and other industrial materials.
• Must be able to perform physical work in manufacturing and facility environments.

Education and Experience

Required

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED).
• Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a facilities maintenance role.
• Experience with facility maintenance activities, including building and equipment repairs.
• Construction-related skills necessary to complete a wide range of building maintenance projects.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and procedures.

Preferred

• Additional experience in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or industrial maintenance.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Computer Skills

• Ability to learn and use company maintenance systems.
• On‑the‑job training will be provided for company-specific software and systems.
